Sand Castle Days. At the Imperial Beach Pier, Americas largest and
longest-running sand castle event, the annual U.S. Open Sand Castle competition

Current Events
An Artful Garage Sale, many of the items that once costumed the Children's Museum of San Diego will be available during the sale planned at the museum on Saturday, December 7, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Two- and three-dimensional art, a Mercedes-Benz, small exhibits, furniture will be offered. Dressed for the Holidays, the sixth annual holiday home tour. December 7 and 8 includes tours inside homes on Seventh Avenue at the northwest corner of Balboa Park. Tour hours are 1 to 6 p.m. on Saturday and 1 to 5 p.m. on Sunday. Tickets for the four-home tour are $20, benefiting the A.B. and Jessie Polinsky Children's Center.
